Dr. Rehan Sibgatullah, DDS
Dr. Sibgatullah received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from New York University College of Dentistry, followed by a general practice residency at the School of Medicine and Dentistry, University of Rochester, New York.
His anesthesia training was completed at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Montifore Medical Center, New York, and St Joseph Hospital and Medical Center, New Jersey.
He is part of an elite group of general dentists who have achieved anesthesia permits for IV sedation in an office setting in the state of Pennsylvania.
A year of comprehensive training in all phases of implant treatment at the Howard University College of Dentistry and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry prepared him for private dental practice.
Dr. Sibgatullah is a lifelong student and is voracious about attending continuing education courses and expanding his knowledge in dentistry.
In addition to treating a general dental population, Dr. Sibgatullah became very involved with working with individuals who were developmentally or mentally disabled. He enjoys working with his special needs patients and provide comprehensive care under general anesthesia in a hospital operating room setting.
Dr. Sibgatullah routinely treats comprehensive cases in a hospital setting. Patients with severe anxiety and who are unable to cooperate in a traditional office setting are often candidates for treatment under general anesthesia. Often these patients have complex medical histories or require extensive dental treatment. General anesthesia is also recommended for our patients with special needs who cannot be treated in a traditional office setting because of many different limitations.
All needed dental treatment is completed in one visit.
Outpatient hospital dentistry is available at Lancaster General Hospital's Main Campus and Lancaster General Health Campus.
